About Us
Thrash Lives On!
The Ultimate Megadeth Experience.
Live. Loud. Unrelenting.
Wake Up Dead is a high-energy, precision-driven Megadeth tribute band dedicated to honoring one of the most technically demanding and influential acts in thrash metal history. Based in Western New York, the band faithfully recreates the sound, speed, and attitude of Megadeth’s legendary catalog — from the blistering riffs of Peace Sells and Tornado of Souls to the crowd anthems Symphony of Destruction and Holy Wars.
Every note, harmony, and drum hit is delivered with the same ferocity that defined the golden age of thrash. This isn’t just a cover act — it’s a full-scale tribute, built on musicianship, authenticity, and deep respect for the legacy of Dave Mustaine’s work.
From intimate clubs and festivals to large-scale venues, Wake Up Dead provides fans with a live music experience that’s equal parts nostalgia and raw metal energy — it truly captures the essence of seeing Megadeth live in their prime.
